Alpha Chi Omega

Social Events
Alpha Chi Omega social events provide our sisters with opportunities to let loose, have fun, and meet new people every weekend. We have three different types of events throughout each semester: mixers, date parties, and formal. Mixers can take many different forms, from cookouts, to food tabs at nearby locations like The Crust, Brickhouse, and College Delly, to active events like sports games, and they take place many times throughout a semester, as we hold events with various social fraternities and male sports teams. Mixers provide plenty of possibilities for creativity, as they often have fun themes such as Fairy Tales and Celebrity Fails and 80s Workout. Date parties give our sisters the chance to introduce their other friends to their Alpha Chi sisters. Date parties are typically held twice a semester, and have themes ranging from classic semi-formal, to Famous Pairs, to My-Tie, where sisters set each other up on blind dates. Occurring at the end of each semester, formal is one of the most-anticipated Alpha Chi events. Our fall formal welcomes in our newest pledge class, while our spring formal celebrates our graduating seniors, and both events include lots of dancing, food, and fun.
Sisterhood Events
In Alpha Chi Omega, we truly cherish the bonds of sisterhood. We enjoy spending time together whenever we can, whether that time is spent carving pumpkins or singing karaoke with the majority of the chapter, or grabbing lunch or catching a favorite TV show with a couple of sisters. Alpha Chis especially look forward to our sisterhood retreats; days where the whole chapter gets to venture off campus to enjoy some time together. Past sisterhood retreats have included pottery painting and beach days, and we cannot wait to see this next semester has in store!
